1. User Responsibility & Liability

LearnHive.org is an independent nonprofit community style platform provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any member-submitted content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LearnHive is operated by ATX Tech LLC (“the Company”), and neither the Company, its founder, contributors, nor affiliated operators shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform, including but not limited to damages resulting from user-generated content, third-party conduct, data loss, or service interruption. In no event shall the Company’s total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid to use LearnHive (which, for free services, is zero).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ATX Tech LLC, its founder, and its contributors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third party’s rights.

2. Data Handling Summary

LearnHive (operated by ATX Tech LLC, “the Data Controller”) collects account, content, and technical data as described in our Privacy Policy, which governs how your information is processed. Where applicable, our legal basis for processing includes your consent at registration and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the platform. Data may be stored on infrastructure located outside your country of residence. We apply reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect member data, but no system can be guaranteed fully secure, and the Company disclaims liability for unauthorized access resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

3. Prohibited Conduct

• Zero Tolerance: No hate speech, profanity, or harassment based on race, gender, religion, or any other protected characteristic.
• No Sharing Sensitive Information: Do not post your own or others’ personal, financial, or health information (e.g., ID numbers, addresses, medical details).
• Civil Discourse: Disagreements must remain respectful and on-topic.

4. Content Ownership & Removal

Members retain ownership of content they post, but grant LearnHive a license to display it on the platform. We reserve the right to edit, remove, or restrict access to any content that violates these terms, and to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

5. Eligibility

Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users between 13 and 18 should have parental or guardian awareness of their participation. LearnHive does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of LearnHive after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
