"here we connect and innovate"
Section 1 · Lesson 2
Not every AI image tool is built for the same job. This lesson gives you a simple decision path for choosing the right one before you write a single prompt.
The three most common tools — Midjourney, DALL·E, and Stable Diffusion — are built for different strengths. Picking the wrong one for the job is the single most common beginner mismatch.
| Tool | Best suited for |
| Midjourney | Highly stylized, painterly results with strong default aesthetics |
| DALL·E | Following precise, literal instructions and text-in-image requests |
| Stable Diffusion | Full local control, custom fine-tuned models, repeatable technical workflows |
Three tools, three distinct strengths — match the tool to the task, not the other way around
Matching the tool to the task up front avoids fighting a tool’s default style for twenty generations when a different tool would have gotten there in two.
Hands-on exercise
Take the prompt from Lesson 1.1 and run it through two different tools if you have access. Compare which one got closer to what you wanted.
