Three ways to hold consistency
Locked seed — reusing the same random seed keeps composition stable across small prompt tweaks.
Style reference tags — a consistent style code or image applied to every prompt in a set.
Custom fine-tuned models — training a small model on a character or brand for maximum consistency at higher effort.
Consistency comes from what stays fixed (seed, style tag) across a whole set, not from luck
Locked seeds and style tags cover most everyday needs; custom fine-tuned models are worth it only when a character or brand repeats across dozens of future images.
Hands-on exercise
Generate three images of the same subject using a locked seed and one consistent style tag. Note what stayed the same and what varied.
